  • Educator Effectiveness Help WAWMEA is hosting two EE help sessions for members:May 4th 3:15-5 at West Milw Intermediate Room 105May 9th 3:45-5 at Wilson Elem Room 212We would like all members to be comfortable with their EE, especially with it being tied to bonus pay.  If you need help or have any questions about EE or the Bonus Pay system, please plan on attending.

  • WAWMEA & WEAC Region 7 back Chris Larson for Co. Exec. WAWMEA, WEAC Region 7, & Grassroots North Shore has endorsed Wisconsin State Senator Chris Larson for Milwaukee County Executive. The primary election is Tuesday, February 16, and the spring election is Tuesday, April 5.                       We view this election as critical for the future of Milwaukee County.   • WAWMEA Recertifies Once Again! Strong Message from West Allis West Milwaukee Educators   Recertification election results are in and once again the WAWM EA has won a big victory with an overwhelming 99% percent of actual voters and 80% percent of all possible voters, voicing their desire to maintain our Association’s legal certification.  We want to give thanks to all of you for this important vote of confidence, which we will never take for granted.   As part of Act 10, the recertification election process was designed to undermine the efforts of teachers and other public employees to maintain their local associations.
